Costumes:
Santa: Santa coat, pants, glasses, hat, white gloves, beard, wig, boots (to make him look like Santa)
Mrs.Claus: Red dress, apron, black tights, black flats, glasses, white wig (to make her look like a joyful Mrs.Clause)
Kidnapper 1: Skinny jeans, black shirts, black shoes (to make them look like fashionable kidnappers)
Kidnapper 2: Skinny jeans, black shoes (to make them look like fashionable kidnappers)
Detectives: Lab coats, jeans, magnifying glass, black shoes (to make them look smart like a detective would be)
Elf: Red shirt, green pants, red shoes (to look joyful in the Christmas spirit like a elf)
Props:
Santa: Nothing
Mrs.Claus: Platter of cookies, 2 mugs of hot cocoa (in movies you usually see Ms.Claus holding or giving out mugs of hot chocolate)
Kidnappers: Rope, fake guns, 2 mugs of hot cocoa (guns- to make the kidnappers seem scary, rope for tying up Santa, mugs of the hot cocoa- to pour on Kidnapper 2)
Detectives: Magnifying glass (when they are looking very closely at the sleigh tracks)
Elf: Nothing

Trouble Scene 1- A Trap

KIDNAPPER 1

DETECTIVE 2
Mam, tonight something terrible has happened. Santa has been kidnapped.
Just then Kidnapper 2 introduces himself to the police offices
Just then, Ashley hears a loud bang in the closet
DETECTIVE 2
What was that? I heard a noise from your closet.
KIDNAPPER 2
knocking over things.DETECTIVEthings.
DETECTIVE 1
If it is all the same to you, we want to have a look inside of your closet. Ashley, take a look.
Ashley opens the door and finds Santa with his hands tied behind a chain and a scarf tied around his mouth.
You are under arrest for the kidnapping of Santa Clause. Why in the world would you do such an evil thing?
KIDNAPPER 1

Well, I can certainly see why. You can expect coal in your stockings for a very long time.
KIDNAPPER 2
Ava you better tell me right now why you spilt hot cocoa all over me! Ava? Ava?! Where are you Santa? Where is everybody?
